  • The time required for equipment startup and shutdown shall be included in the usage time. In principle, equipment usage is restricted to weekdays between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
  • If technical proxy services exceed the standard measurement time per sample, or if special observation or processing required for analysis is necessary, an additional fee equivalent to the actual costs incurred may be charged in addition to the standard usage fee.
  1. Sample preparation work is included. If you choose to prepare the samples yourselves, the usage free is reduced to 37,300 yen per sample (excluding consumption tax and local consumption tax) for non-profit academic research institutions, and 74,600 yen per sample for corporate users.
  2. This price is for sample measurement only.
  3. For requests involving 13 or more samples, the feasibility of execution will be determined through consultation with the university's faculty members or technicians. If re-analysis is required, the same fees will apply.
  4. An additional fee equivalent to all costs incurred by the generation of animals will be charged.
  5. If the target mice and ES cells cannot be obtained during the first generation process, the fee for the second generation attempt may be waived upon consultation with the user. Furthermore, the fee for the third and subsequent attempts may be reduced to half of the standard rate.

  6. Includes the process from in vitro fertilization (IVF) to frozen embryo production. In addition, if a portion of the frozen embryos is thawed and transferred to confirm individual restoration, the usage fee is 115,386 yen (excluding consumption tax and local consumption tax) per attempt for academic research institutions, and 191,386 yen per attempt for corporate users.
  7. Genetically modified organisms are not permitted.
  8. As a general rule, users are required to complete a technical training session regarding equipment operation before using any instruments.
